چکیده

Allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) is a diagnosis that requires significant patient education for proper management. There limited information regarding satisfaction. We aimed to assess satisfaction among adults in the United States with ACD. Data from 2016-2019 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey was analyzed. Comparing ACD (n=119) control group of without (n=86,291), those trended toward higher rates high (response “always”) health care: provider listened carefully (61.3% vs 55.8%; p=0.268), explained things clearly (75.8% 57.9%; p<0.001), spent enough time (56.5% 50.4%; p=0.222), and demonstrated respect (70.9% 61.9%; p=0.064). another chronic skin such as psoriasis (n=148), also satisfaction: 49.1%; p=0.015), 52.6%; 56.0%; p=0.920), 57.7%; p=0.023). Overall scores (out 10) were not significantly different between (8.11 8.23; p=0.83). Adults ACD, compared general population psoriasis, had each domain studied. A statistically difference observed their explanations when population, well listening psoriasis.

[Allergic contact dermatitis and systemic contact dermatitis in a patient with polysensitization to topical corticosteroids].

Although allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) due to corticosteroids is a well-known and relatively common phenomenon, the systemic administration of corticosteroids only rarely produces skin reactions (systemic contact dermatitis [SCD]). We present the case of a patient with ACD to various corticosteroids, and who subsequently developed SCD to multiple systemic corticosteroids. A 47-year-old man ...

Allergic Contact Dermatitis Physiology

Allergic Contact Dermatitis (ACD) involves the penetration of an allergen through the skin surface where it acts as a hapten by binding to epidermal proteins and eliciting, a delayed Type IV hypersensitivity reaction 48 to 120 hours after exposure. This immunologic response involves the activation of Th1 cells with the subsequent release of cytokines resulting in the classic inflammatory reaction.

Allergic contact dermatitis

Allergic contact dermatitis is a T cell mediated, antigen-specific inflammatory reaction of the skin due to repeated epicutaneous exposure to antigens. Immunologically it is divided into 2 phases, induction and elicitation phase. During the first phase which is clinically silent, naïve T cells are activated and differentiate into antigen-specific memory T cells. During the elicitation phase, af...

Allergic contact dermatitis.

Allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) is a common occupational and environmental health issue. In common with other forms of allergy the disease progresses in two stages; an initial phase during which sensitization is acquired, followed later (after subsequent exposure to the same chemical allergen) by elicitation of a cutaneous inflammatory reaction. The development of skin sensitization is associ...
